"Jealousy Party mit Roberta WJM Andreucci und Mat Pogo besteht seit rund 30 Jahren. Die beiden Stimm- und Elektronikmusiker:innen haben in diesem Projekt über die Jahre mit vielen Musiker:innen kollaboriert und sich mit verschiedenen musikalischen Genres verbunden (z.B. mit Improvisations- und Jazzmusiker Edoardo Ricci, Andrea Caprara, Jacopo Andreini, Jimmy Gelli, Niccolò Gallio, Nicotina, Stefano Bartolini uvm.). Aufnahmen dieser Sessions münden fortwährend in eine Sammlung an Sounds und Samples, die das Duo in ihren Live-Auftritten in immer neuer Variationen arrangiert. Ein Juwel des italienischen Underground mit einem Mix aus RnB, radikaler Improvisation, Funk, Avant Rock, Soundcollage, Punk und quasi-Comedia dell'Arte Performance."

"Jealousy Party with Roberta WJM Andreucci and Mat Pogo consists since 30 years. Over the years this two vocal and electronic musicians have collaborated in this duo project with many musicians from different genres (like with improvisation- and jazz musician Edoardo Ricci, Andrea Caprara, Jacopo Andreini, Jimmy Gelli, Niccolò Gallio, Nicotina, Stefano Bartolini and many others). Recordings of this sessions continuously joined a collection of sounds and samples which are altered and arranged by the duo in their live performances. A jewel of the Italien underground with a mix of RnB, radical improvisation, funk, avant rock, dub, sound collage, punk spirit and quasi-comedia dell'arte performance."

"DEK ist ein Improvisationstrio das seit 10 Jahren zusammenarbeitet und Konzerte in Europa und den USA spielt. Die Musik von DEK hat sehr vielfältige Einflüsse, die durch die unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen der Musiker:innen eingebracht werden: Harnik´s Klangkosmos, der ihre Schaffensfelder als Pianistin in der improvisierten Musik und als Komponistin neuer Musik auslotet, Kern´s Profil als Schlagzeuger sowohl in der Underground-Rock-Szene als auch in der Improvisationsszene und Vandermark´s zwei Jahrzehnte lange künstlerische Arbeit, die den Jazz in seiner zeitgenössischen Form entscheidend mitgeprägt hat.
Die Kombination dieser unterschiedlichen musikalischen Backgrounds und die offene Neugierde der drei Musikerpersönlichkeiten hat eine außergewöhnliche Gruppenästhetik entstehen lassen: inklusiv, expressiv, unmittelbar!"

"DEK is an improvisation trio which has been working together since 10 years playing concerts in Europe and the USA. DEK's music has a wide range of influences based on the different experiences of the musicians: sources based in Harnik's work as an internationally acclaimed new music composer, Kern's profile on the European underground rock scene and the improvisation scene, and Vandermark's two decades of artistic work, which has decisively shaped jazz in its contemporary form.
The combination of these diverse backgrounds and open-ended musical curiosity has developed an extraordinary group aesthetic- inclusive, expressive, and instantaneous!"

"I'm happy to announce that our concert series 2024 starts with a duo from Chicago which wasn’t on stage in Vienna/Austria for years. Dave Rempis, saxophone and Tim Daisy, drums are connected through a longterm musical friendship and are deeply involved in the creative jazz and improvisation community in Chicago, Dave Rempis also as concert organiser. They are playing together as a duo as well as in many international formations in the US and in Europe. Both are masters of a very precise sound expression and improvising with lightness, agility and create lively sets with deepness. Don’t miss it!"
